Terms and Conditions

  1. Currency

    All prices on this site are quoted in pounds sterling (). Payment will be made in pounds sterling (credit cards: your credit card provider will charge sales in your local billing currency).

  2. Online Payments

    We accept payment by card (Visa, Delta, MasterCard, Maestro) through a secure server. For security reasons we do not post credit card vouchers to the customer.

  3. Credit Card Security

    All credit card details are collected on a secure web site and are then deleted as soon as we have collected the details to carry out the transaction.

  4. Tax

    VAT is calculated automatically as appropriate to the country of the buyer's address

  5. Duties and Local Taxes

    If local taxes and/or local duties are due, you will receive a separate invoice from the carrier. Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry of the destination country.

  6. Shipping/Carriage

    The final price quoted on the payments page is the price of the goods including delivery to the stated destination. These charges include carriage by our nominated couriers to both home and overseas destinations. UK deliveries will take up to 5 working days, most European deliveries within 14 working days, the US and Canada within 21 days and other areas in 21 days. If you need to confirm a delivery date for an urgent order, send us a request by email, stating preferred delivery time and product name(including colour, size etc.). We will email you by return with our best possible estimates. Please Note: Delivery for concrete items which require special painting may take up to 28 days.

  7. Damage in Transit

    If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that we can make an insurance claim against the carrier's insurers. If you receive a damaged parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as "Damaged package; goods not yet inspected" or similar to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming.

  8. Returns and Refunds

    If you receive goods in damaged condition, you deem as of unmerchantable quality,you must notify us by e-mail, post or within seven days of receipt of the goods. Refunds will be made by the same method as that used for the original purchase.

  9. Returns for Cancellations and Unwanted Items.

    If you change your mind about any items you have ordered from us, please notify us within 8 days of receipt and return the goods for a full refund (which will be paid within 30 days of the cancellation). In this event we will not normally refund your return postage.

  10. Payment

    Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch.

  11. Goods not Available for Shipment

    Although we endeavour to keep reasonable stock of all of our products, it may be possible for some goods not to be in stock at the time you place your order. In the event that we cannot ship your goods within two working days of receipt of your order, we will contact you by email to advise you of the situation and ask whether we should proceed with the transaction.

  12. Confidentiality

    We undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied by customers strictly confidential. Any other information supplied to us may be stored on our computer system for our convenience, but will never be supplied to any outside agency. Our privacy statement is available by clicking here.

  13. Complaints

    We endeavour to provide the highest level of customer service. If something should go wrong please don't hesitate to contact enquiries@pixieland.co.uk. We welcome your comments as it enables us to continually improve our service. We will reply to you within 5 working days, normally with an effective resolution. If the problem cannot be resolved immediately we will keep you informed of the steps we are taking to put the matter right.

  15. Statutory Rights

    Our terms and conditions in no way affect your statutory rights as a consumer

    All transactions undertaken through this web site are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to English Legal processes and under the jurisdiction of English Courts.
